Hi everyone! My Special Day Card today is a quick and easy card. I used a pre-cut Craft Consortiums 3D Decoupage set.
The pre-cut 3D-Decoupage sets from Craft Consortium are very handy when you need to go fast. In each set are 5 designs with 2 sheets each. I only had to carefully cut out the precut parts. All layers are labeled and therefore very easy to assemble.
I only had to add some foam squares to the backs and stacked them in order together.
I wanted to keep the card simple but for me a bit was missing. As I also have some of Craft Consortium´s matching clear stamps, I chose to add a tag to the design.
I stamped it with my Misti on a scrap piece of cardstock. Then I cut it out and covered the edges with a matching Copic marker. To add a little more interest I poke a hole with an awl and put a colored paper fastener through it. To match the hight of the stacked design, I stacked some foam squares on the back of the tag.
Orginally I wanted to glue the 3D panel onto a pre-cut standard card base and stamp my sentiment right under it. However, I thought this did not look harmonious. So I measured the panel to cut the base of the card smaller with my trimmer. Without further ado I placed my sentiment inside the card.
The card was so quick and easy to make that I made another one. This time I chose the dog with the presents.
I hope you fell inspired, had fun with my card and you check back soon.
