Hi everyone! Today I tried a few color combos with Pinkfresh Studio inks. I colored a bunch of Altenew Elegant Motifs. so I show you how my flowers turned out.
I chose some stamps from Altenew´s Craft Your Life Project Kit: Elegant Motifs and placed them in my MISTI stamp positioner.
First of all, I stamped all my motifs. Then I colored all blossoms with different colors for each flower and then all the leafes.
To keep my paper from slipping during brushing I used the Waffle Flower stencil mat. Altenew provides with each layering stamp set a layering guide, which is very helpful especially in combination with stencils. To avoid accidentally coloring other parts of the stencil, I covered them with tape.
Color Combos
I slowly approached the color combinations and started with light colors (Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Fresh Pear, Meadow and Peach Fuzz).
For this flower I used the same light pink colors and combined them with some browns (Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Warm Buff, Doe).
Next I combined some blues and yellows (Sky Blue, Summer Shower, Sweet Mustard, Marigold).
After that I used some blues and browns (Sky Blue, Summer Shower, Warm Buff and Doe).
For my rose I chose Marigold, Passion Fruit, Olive and Emerald City.
The same rose but this time in pink (Bubble Gum, Raspberry Bliss, Olive Emerald).
For the violet rose I used Candy Violet, Regal Kiss, Olive and Evergreen.
Then I tried a blue rose with Slumber, Sapphire, Sunschine and Marigold.
For this motiv I used Soft Lilac, Lavender, Meadow and Tidal Pond.
For the last flowers I colored the flowers identically and changed the colors of the leaves.
Passion Fruit, Candy Apple, Olive and Emerlad City.
