Quick And Easy Christmas Card

Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well. Today I´m sharing a very quick and easy christmas card with you. For this card you don´t need many craft supplies. I love the combination gold / blue so this is my color scheme this year. Without many more words, let´s get started:

Quick and easy christmas card

First I cut some blue cardstock to approximate size of my panel. In Germany the card sizes are slightly different from the US sizes. My panel was cut in Din lang which nearly equals an US slimline card.

For my main element I chose one of Tim Holtz baroque stamps and used it with my Misti stamp positioner. The baroque stamps are not symmetrical elements. So I positioned the chosen stamp at the top of my card panel to create a sort of “middle” of the design.

I inked the stamp with Versamark embossing ink and transfered it to my panel. As embossing powder I chose Nuvo glitter embossing powder gold and heated it with my WOW! heat gun.

Then I had to put in the foam insert of my Misti stamp positioner because I used a clear stamp from the Gina K. Shimmering Snowflake set. After that, I stamped my merry christmas sentiment also with Versamark embossing ink and used the same embossing powder.

To complete my quick and easy christmas card, I trimmed my panel a bit and mounted it on a white card base.

And – voilà – here we have the finished card!

I hope, you enjoyed todays card and I will see you soon.
