Hi everyone! This year I´m so in love with the Winter Tales paper pad from Stamperia for my christmas cards. I already cut the round elements for some christmas cards (see this article) and today I was using the rectangular elements of the paper pad.
First, I cut all elements and added some Stickles glitter glue to it. Only in some areas to not overload tis absolutely gorgeous design. Then I cut some dark blue cardstock a little bit bigger than my main element and placed the design paper on top.
I chose to hot foil my chirstmas sentiment, so I took my Gemini Foilpress platform and heated it up. Then I layed the foil stamp with the solid side on the hot foilpress and added some Go Press and Foil foil over the stamp. On top of that I placed white cardstock and set the timer for my foilpress. After the time was up I carefully put the top plate on top and ran everything through my gemini junior. I took my cardstock and removed slowly the foil. Please be careful, the foil stamp is warm to hot – use your tweezers you got with your hotfoil platform and set the stamp aside to cool.
I took the according die and cut my foiled element. To get more dimension on my chritsmas card, I cut two layers of white cardstock stacked it to the sentiment.
Afterwards I put my elements on the card base to see if I like the christmas card already. I didn´t want to detract too much from the Winter Tales element, but found that the map was still missing something. So I took my Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D impresslits Snowflake, cut it from white cardstock and added some Stickles glitter glue, stacked them on top of each other and a rhinestone in the center. Then I glued it to my main element.
To finish my Christmas Card Winter Tales I addes some pearl stones.
