Hi everyone,

Let´s start

Thankful - autumn card 1

I made the leaves with Tim Holtz Sizzix 3-D impresslits 663293 and 665374. I sprayed a mixture of Distress spray stain on watercolor cardstock. My colors were fossilized amber, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon, brushed corduroy, ground espresso and some rusic wildernes. I love these vibrant colors! After drying the cardstock with my heat tool, I run the impresslits through my Sizzix Bigshot plus.

I die cut the lantern with Tim Holtz Sizzix 665552 Colorize candle light. As glass I used some acetate. To make the lantern more pop, I added some glossy accent to the flame and some vellum as background. With distress oxide ink mustard seed I brushed some light rays on the vellum.

For the sentiment strip I sprayed some Distress spray paint fossilized amber, carved pumpkin and Distress mica stain flickering candle and jack o lantern. These mica sprays looks so gorgeous. I stamped the Technique Tuesdays thankful stamp with Versamark embossing ink and used WOW embossing powder primary ebony to stand out against the background.

For the background I used Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder 662718 Lumber on brown cardstock and stained it with some Distress ink vintage photo and walnut. This made the background look more realistic. I darkened the edges of the card by added some Distress oxide ink black soot to emphazise the focal Point even more.

To assamble all my pieces I used some foam tape to get more dimension on my card.
